UPGRADE OPTIONS

* We highly recommend upgrading to double thick paper for press orders. Please note that if you choose to stick with a single ply paper, the press impression will likely register on the opposite of the card as well.

The Pantone Matching System is used to identify the colors used in letterpress. Your stationer will help make sure we are selecting the perfect color for your press. In order to do so, you will be asked to either provide a color code, or provide us with a color to to reference and match.

Letterpress

Letterpress Example

Ever touch a piece of paper and just feel the quality? That's the magic of letterpress. It's an age-old craft, not just a printing method. We're talking about taking your design and physically pressing it into quality paper on an antique press. The result? A stunning, tactile impression you can actually run your fingers over—a richness that just doesn't happen with modern flat printing.

It's a slower, more intentional process, but that's precisely where its beauty lies. Each piece carries a unique depth and character, turning something simple into a true keepsake.

Blind Press

Blind Press Example

While letterpress uses hand-mixed ink to transfer your design with that signature, satisfying deboss, blind press skips the ink entirely, creating a stunning, subtle impression that plays with light and shadow. Both press methods offer an understated elegance that's felt as much as it's seen.

Choose letterpress for vibrant, tangible statements, or blind press for refined, luxurious touches.

Foil Press

Foil Press Example

Foil press uses heat and pressure to apply a thin layer of metallic or pigmented foil onto your design, creating a shimmering, reflective surface that instantly catches the eye. Imagine your names or a delicate motif gleaming in gold, silver, rose gold, or a rich jewel tone. Hot foil adds an unparalleled level of glamour and sophistication, ensuring your invitations sparkle and leave a truly unforgettable first impression.

This press method does not create as deep of an indentation as blind or letterpress, but is equally impactful.

TIMELINE REQUIREMENTS

6-8 weeks

Premium press methods require custom polymer plate creation, hand-mixed ink matching, press labor, and quality checking. Because of this, letterpress and foil press methods require an average of 6 weeks printing time. Please ensure that you order with enough time for printing. The studio cannot guarantee rush availability at any time, though will happily accommodate it when available.

Additional time will be required for each additional color or print method required.
